Mahim Halva or Ice Halva

It is an Indian Sweet named after the area of Mahim, where the sweet conceived and originated. Its a unique confection of thin layers of sweet dough(milk and cornflour) pressed into compact square shape and separated by sheets of grease paper. Its now available every where. Mahim/Ice halwa is a layered sweet traditionally prepared with milk and cornflour, but may also contain semolina or flour, ghee, sliced or chopped nuts and flavored with cardamon or fruit flavorings and permitted food colors.
